Lisa Ridgers

Lisa Ridgers was born in Shoreham-by-the-Sea on the South Coast of England and spent part of her childhood living on the island of Majorca.  Her work has been deeply influenced by memories of the vast, unbound space, horizons and water that surrounded her in her childhood. She describes her paintings as a fusion of natural elements and inner meditations. Her unique style combines an organic palette with a variety of mediums and techniques that in their contradiction create fresh and compelling canvases. Her subject matter ranges from abstract color field compositions to vivid and earthly landscapes.
