Pegan Brooke
Pegan Brooke’s paintings are inspired by the rich natural environment that surrounds her studio on the northern coast of California. Her paintings have an ephemeral quality, with a spectacular sense of light, space, and weightlessness associated with water. Pegan received her MA in Painting from Stanford University and later taught as a Professor of Art at the San Francisco Art Institute and the Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art in France.
