Lori Glavin
Connecticut artist Lori Glavin is a painter, printmaker, and collage artist known for abstract compositions that are saturated with color, bold shapes, and gestural marks. Born in Buffalo, NY, she earned her BFA from Syracuse University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts and later worked as a graphic designer and art director in New York. Lori’s paintings, monotypes, and collages are constructed through re-examining the familiar. She takes inspiration from the rhythms of domestic life and the natural world to collect, combine, and sort the bold shapes, organic forms and rich color.
