Jensen-Nagle’s work carries a strong sense of nostalgia. Through his process, specific details of grand public spaces, parks, beaches, pools, or waterfronts become a distant memory, as he transforms the image into a dream state for the viewer. The blurred effect creates an atmosphere of illusion, memory and imagination, while still capturing a distinct sense of place.
He writes about his work:
“Whether deliberate of not, my work is a reflection of me and my perception of the world. Everybody sees the world in their own unique way, and my work reflects how I view it. We live in an industrialized age where man has taken over the land and put his mark on it. My work is not traditionally documentary; however, it does reveal bits of truth about our past and present.”
